Word Warrior Poetry

all things poetic, all things warrior, all things WORD

Warrior-At-Large

Lynne Landis is an Arkansas Native and proud to be.  She is a graduate student in the inaugural class of the Arkansas Writers MFA Workshop.  She has worked as an editorial assistant on the Toad Suck Review.  To pay the bills, she works as a registered nurse in a busy Little Rock hospital.  She is a writer 24/7.  She writes poetry and fiction and words are just about her most favorite thing in the world.  When all else fails, she has her words.  She believes that life is too short to be wasted, that it’s better to find out who you are later in life than never at all, and that happiness is a conscious decision.  She believes in the resiliency of the human spirit and that we all have a little warrior in each of us.  A life-long resident of North Little Rock, she stills live in the house she grew-up in with 3 very lovable and very crazy dogs.
